Two Legendary Blades, it is told, were forged in elder days from one piece of metal that fell from the heavens out of the hands of a dying Sky-King. Cast by the mighty Troll-Mage, Forgin Gothchar, the first sword had a strange flaw in its core, and when cooled the blade turned a malevolent black.  None dared touch this baleful weapon, for it pulsed with a darkness that threatened any mortal hand that seized it. So Forgin Gothchar imprisoned the Dark Sword with a mighty spell away in the hidden depths of the earth so that no man could succumb to its evil power. 

He then created the Legendary Mind Sword, a weapon for good and light . . .

The Hawk franchise consists of three closed-end movies.  The first being Hawk The Slayer, the second Hawk The Hunter, the third Hawk the Destroyer.

Hawk the Slayer was made and released in 1980 and was immediately recognised as being at the vanguard of the Sword and Sorcery genre. With a classic moral compass of good over evil, the story line captured an audience that to this day holds a deep affection for the movie.

Hawk the Hunter is the much anticipated sequel, bringing Hawk back into battle with Voltan and taking his control of the Mind Sword to the next level.
